WITCH-KING
CCXP Exclusive – The LOrd of THE Rings – Art Scale 1/10
On top of the base resembling the scorching terrain of the dark land of Mordor, surrounded by the shape of its crown, the evil entity, known as the Lord of the Nazgûl, carries its deadly black sword in its right hilt, and its no less lethal flail in his left hand. He watches and searches for the “One Ring” of his master Sauron, confident in the 1000-year prophecy of the Elf-Lord Glorfindel, which says that no man alive can kill him. Iron Studios presents the statue of the fearsome “Witch King of Angmar – The Lord Of The Rings – Art Scale 1/10 – Exclusive” to the delight of fans and collectors of Tolkien’s work, presented in theaters through the vision of director Peter Jackson.
Once a King of men, he was corrupted by one of the nine Rings of Power, becoming one of the Ringwraiths known as Nazgûl, in Sauron’s service. With his original identity unknown, Witch King, also known as the Witch-King of Angmar, was the leader of the Nazgûl. After Sauron’s first defeat in the War of the Last Alliance, over a millennium later he reappeared to found the evil kingdom of Angmar, which he ruled for over six hundred years. As the Dark Lord’s greatest servant throughout more than four thousand years of Middle-earth history, it was his Lieutenant-Chief, a mighty warrior and sorcerer who brought incomparable terror and dread. As the prophecy said, he wasn’t killed by any man, but by a woman, the warrior maiden Éowyn, mistress of Rohan and niece of King Théoden, at the end of the War of the Ring at the Battle of the Pellenor Fields.
Faithfully replicated to the smallest detail of its armor, with stunning realism in the fabric texture of its shroud and depth of its faceless helmet. Added to the collection of statues derived from Iron Studios’ The Lord Of The Rings movie trilogy. Originally exclusive at CCXP – Comic-Con Experience in Brazil, our exclusive event items are now also available at events worldwide. Consult your local distributor for more information.
